Mounds View Basketball

The Strikers did great to start the game and held on for a 44-11 win despite getting a little tired the last two periods.   The Strikers got their shooting touch back in week 3.  This was due to better shot selection and good form on the shots.  The good defense returned with the team getting 30 steals.  Jacob and Trevor led the way with 8 steals each.  Eight of the nine players had at least one steal.  Passing improved (although we missed some open players down court on fast breaks according to the coach).  Matthew F, Josh and Jeffrey had some really nice passes.  Rebounding was better too especially from the big men - Matthew K had 5, Daven had 3 and A -Man had 2.  Matt played his usual solid defense and all around solid game with 4 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals.
